September 16, 2013 - The box Star is holding is reminiscent of the "gift" Star gave Jennifer in their first appearance, which may imply certain feelings Star may have about Jen that aren't really my intention, but now it becomes an interesting point of speculation to anyone writing slash fiction (which is a statement I may soon regret). Maggie's reaction to Mary and the contents of the box are also possibly worthy of speculation, but more than anything I think they emphasize a certain amount of sexual repression inherent to Maggie's character which is consistent with a lot of her past appearances.

It's also probably worth questioning if Star's gift amounts to sexual harassment, but this subplot is far from over and I want to find a bunch more resources to link to before launching into a discussion on such a topic.
