September 5, 2013 - As stated above, many of the upcoming comics will deal with storylines regarding rape. I'm going to try my best to make note of any comics specifically in the archive (and I possibly should go back and amend some pages to include trigger warnings), but in the interest of finding a compromise that is both sensitive to survivors of rape and not spoiling future storylines, I've decided to put up a trigger warning at the top of the main page as well as place this paragraph at the top of the blog with considerable lead time before the comics depicting such situations are posted.

My friend says I'm better served posting an unfinished comic on time than a finished comic late, but I'm curious what other people's opinions are. Obviously for now this is just line art and lettering.

I also obviously wanted to write some blog discussing the problems associated with both waiting periods and forcing women to travel long distances for abortions. I already made reference to the distance Pam traveled in earlier comics, but here it shows her discomfort being in an unknown location with people that aren't presenting themselves as trustworthy. Initially this comic was going to contain more specific potential triggers setting her off but I think this works much better as is, though I feel obligated to point out that I personally kinda love motel's and unless an article posted in their lobby was lying even Zagat's Guide gave the more modern interior hallwayed Motel 6 franchises positive reviews.

Meanwhile the kidnapper of three women in Ohio has taken his own life, saving taxpayers tons of money housing him in prison. I'm not a fan of the death penalty specifically because of the cost it incurs though I also object morally as it causes international relations problems and I don't see how it makes us any better than criminals. I have no problem with someone in such circumstances killing him or herself however. Also the judge in the Montana rape case is apparantly now trying to change his disrespectfully short sentence as he feels it doesn't meet legal minimums, further strengthening the case he should resign altogether.
