October 25, 2012 - Don't have much to say about this comic. Meanwhile CNN posted and took down an article claiming an inconclusive study had evidence that hormones affected how women vote, not their finest moment but they did correct the error. Overall my frequent linking to CNN as a source is usually due to the fact that despite a moderately conservative bias it's, in my opinion, the best option of the major US news networks. FOX is extremely conservative. MSNBC is extremely liberal. The state of news broadcasting is rather unfortunate, best highlighted by the fact that the most trusted newsman is comedian Jon Stewart, who in interviews tends to shrug off having any responsibility for how he handles the news. But I don't see how that can change when news organizations determine their methods of reporting news based primarily on ad sales.

Meanwhile, here's a CNN article explaining a little known and discriminatory US military policy. A storyline featuring military personnel is planned for the future, but it's probably worth mentioning now that a woman getting pregnant during her military service effectively ends her career as the military will neither provide abortive services or have a situation like what happened to the woman in the linked article if she brings the pregnancy to term.
