April 30, 2012 - If it isn't obvious, Jennifer's deflecting her fairly serious concerns with an attempt at humor, much like how this comic tries to refocus the very serious debate over the widespread legality and morality of abortion rights to something more individual and personal. People deal with difficult situations in very different ways, and as tasteless as humor can appear at times, it's a very human way of dealing with tragedy in my opinion. Humor has the potential to remove a lot of hostility during uncomfortable situations and help let people in. If anything, Jennifer would appreciate all the support she can get.
