August 21, 2015 - If it isn't obvious from the comic, three things that bother me about the claim a certain abortion provider makes that only 3% of there services are abortions are 1.) it's only true using creative interpretation of the numbers (though some abortion opponents push that further in the other direction as well, and a decent analysis of the numbers can be found here), 2.) it downplays the significance of abortion to their practice, and 3.) most importantly it plays into the narrative that there's something inherently negative about abortions.
