May 25, 2015 - Double-Sized Comic!

Yeah... I wasn't a huge fan of A-Force #1. It felt like two pages of content stretched over an issue with a cash-grab cliffhanger ending as if to say, "we know we totally exploited you this issue but we swear something actually happens in the next." I also found Nico to be a bit out of character having a stronger emotional reaction to (SPOILER) Ms. America's banishment than her parents' deaths.

The reviews of course are seemingly glowing even though some of them are so stretched to find something to comment on that one goes so far as to praise the recap page. So yeah, this is basically a rant on my feelings on comics. I'd love Batman to be gay though it does pose certain problems in terms of the perception that gay people are pedophiles. I also really want Jubilee to be asexual considering that in her first twenty years of publication history she's never had a canonical relationship (the closest being the non-canon DC/Marvel crossover where she kissed Robin), but as I'm not sure Aaron's aware of what asexuality is, I left it out.
