July 23, 2014 - Okay, I leave for San Diego in about fifteen hours. I have no idea what my internet connection will be like once I'm there, so I don't know if tomorrow and friday's comics will go up then or have to wait til I get back (next Tuesday's will also all but definitely be late, and I probably shouldn't make any promises about Monday's comic either). In San Diego, I don't have a booth or even a guest pass to the convention, and my past experiences as an attendee don't make me think either is all that worth the investment. Mostly I intend to just hang outside and get a sense of the exterior of the convention center. I've heard of sizeable protests recently, and am much more interested in that scene than anything that might be found inside which will of course be discussed ad nauseam after the fact online anyway. At the very least I'll see some neat cosplay and just hang out at various bars. So don't get too concerned something happened to me if updates don't show up on the site for the next few days, I'd say you could even try to hang out with me if you happen to be in San Diego while I'm there, but the unreliability of internet access on my end is probably going to make that difficult. Apologies in advance for any technical difficulties on the site.
