October 30, 2013 - I probably should have mentioned this yesterday, but it looks like at least portions of Texas' extreme abortion law are unsurprisingly being overturned. Wonder what could be accomplished if all this energy was focused on something reasonable like helping children put up for adoption instead of focusing on unwanted pregnancies.

Also I saw this article which is kinda interesting showing how India's problems with women extend beyond the instances of sexual assault and how the wife of one of the rapists in the infamous rape that took place on a bus that got a lot of attention is now facing problems due to gender discrimination herself.
