September 24, 2013 - Thanks everyone who participated in the poll yesterday. The biggest surprise for me was probably how Sophie fared, and I'm a little surprised Dr. Gregory is in the running for first, I expected him to be around fourth or fifth. Don't think the results mean much of anything as polls like this have the problem of not allowing people to rank characters in order, meaning the more polarizing characters get better results, but it helps me establish a general idea of characters' popularity within a context that allows me to avoid criticism of unpopular characters (as I'd doubt Lillian is anyone's least favorite character, she's just not someone that immediately jumps to mind reading the comic). I guess I'll leave the poll up the rest of the week and see if there are any major shifts or if Mary, Jennifer, or Dr. Gregory can break away from the pack and pull a definitive win instead of trading back and forth.

I'm not sure today's comic is helping Jennifer's case much, but I love her expression in panel 3. I'll probably try to have a few resources on how to appropriately deal with eating disorders in the next comic featuring this plot. To my knowledge most experts on the matter would agree with Jen's initial approach of beginning from a place of other's love and concern, though her authenticity and general tone leave something to be desired as this conversation develops.
