September 11, 2013 - Comic's finished now, and I'm in a state awake enough to write a coherent blog.

I want to start by wishing happy birthday to a girl who died a couple years ago in a shooting in Arizona. Days like this are times when we wish to remember victims and the possibilities they might have offered had their lives not been senselessly cut short.

Also I linked to an article last night about a man who tricked his girlfriend into taking an abortion pill and has now plead guilty for the crime and will be facing sentencing. I think I talked about the case when it happened, and it has the potential to bring about a discussion of a father's rights dissociating from a pregnancy as well as the dangers of not discussing the potential of unwanted pregnancies before they occur. This whole situation likely could have been avoided had the two honestly discussed their feelings (and acknowledging their differences of opinion walked away from the relationship) instead of the current situation which seems to be a pretty clear case of domestic abuse which is very unfortunate to occur.

In the meantime, at least Ellie and Aaron are trying to talk about things.
