August 2, 2013 - Apologies to anyone who saw the unfinished version of this comic a few hours ago. It's done now. Hooray.

Also part 3 of Anita Sarkeesian's examination of damsels in distress in video games is up. It's... well, it exists. I'm not sure if I should really get into my reaction to it, so I'll stress the positive that I'm very happy she made it. Obviously I think it could be better, but the only real criticism I'm prepared to get into now is her ignoring Portal as a game that subverts the damsel trope cuz isn't the whole game about an imprisoned female character using resourcefulness to escape (plus an undying love of six sided objects with hearts on them and the empty promise of tasty moist cake)?
