April 16, 2013 - I'd planned to write a blog post accompanying this comic discussing not only the importance of having a conversation over what one wants from a relationship before entering into one but also discussing the sacrifices to one's personal life a pregnancy presents (whereas having an abortion does not entail the same sacrifices though may present other concerns), which plays up the differences between Jennifer and Patience that this storyline is meant to explore. In light of the tragic events at the Boston Marathon yesterday, I don't really have the energy to compose such a blog. The Boston Marathon is something that's extraordinately important to me personally as well as the people of Boston, and though I'm okay and, to my knowledge, thankfully no one I know was injured in the incident, I'm extremely upset by the event. In summary, I don't feel comfortable writing a blog today, but I do want to post today's comic to maintain a sense of normalcy.
