February 8, 2013 - And here's Lindsay, this storyline's patient. Not much of a joke here beyond Ellie's ignorance. I was just worried Lindsay would look like a child when I wrote the script and was pleasantly surprised by how her character design worked out (at least in my opinion).

Originally coming up with ideas for the whole of the comic with Emily, we each had one particular idea we wanted to work with (Emily's hasn't happened yet). The story I was most interested in telling was one involving disabilities. I really wanted to do something where a woman knew her child would be born with disabilities and had concerns. Because of the nature of most disabilities having the potential to be caused by injury, I then gravitated towards trying to find a disability that was obviously genetic and settled upon dwarfism.

I'm going to be vague about the specifics of Lindsay's dwarfism. Obviously it's a form that still allows her to be pregnant (though this will be discussed more in future comics). I don't want to get too much into spoilers, but I'll talk more about these ideas as they're brought up in the comic. I'm really happy with how this storyline worked out. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it too.

Meanwhile, the audi comic is finally colored and a storm's about to wreck the east coast. So if I don't respond to e-mails it's likely because I lost power.
