One of the most interesting things I find about drawing Kristen is how infrequently she makes eye contact. It just never seems natural for her to do so, and thus I tend to draw her looking away or half spacing out. Plus most of the comics featuring her don't so much involve jokes as much as awkward revelations of her abused and somewhat dissociative mental state, undervaluing herself and seeing situations involving her to be different than what physical evidence suggests. Hopefully her character comes off realistically, which I think is the most important element of doing a storyline like this.
