August 31, 2012 - I don't think today's comic has a punchline, and it honestly depressed the hell out of me. I think I initially wrote the script half sarcastic then ultimately decided it was best to play it honestly when it came time to draw panel 4 which makes the dialogue something completely different entirely (and in my opinion WAY better). But maybe it opens a discussion on the meaning people place on not only traditional sex but other forms of physical intimacy such as felatio.

I don't really have the energy to begin a lengthy discussion on the topic, and don't really want to give an easy answer about any of this (because there isn't one). But technically this strip signifies the third abortion so far. Even though it very notably takes place after this strip and theorhetically could not take place at all for Megan has about 30 seconds to change her mind which ultimately makes the fate of her pregnancy ambiguous. I don't think it matters too much what she does (though if pressed, yes, she aborted), just that she thought about it, which is generally the point of most of my comics (especially when I can't manage a humorous punchline).

All right. Next week's going to be crazy, and check my twitter if you want to see Monday's strip early as, though it won't go up on the site until its usual time, it has a high probability of showing up elsewhere online before Monday (and details about most of what I'm talking about should show up on twitter).
