August 14, 2012 - I've gotten somewhat anxious to do a plot where a patient recognizes Jennifer's pregnancy, so this situation of Megan recognizing Jennifer's condition is probably a bit of a stretch (amplified by Megan having pretty inconsistent knowledge over the specifics of pregnancy). But it does quite a bit to propell the plot forward.

Also, considering the depressing final panel of today's strip, I'd like to bring attention to an article from the National Catholic Reporter (that's right a religiously affiliated newspaper) from last Friday that shows a more farsighted view of the abortion issue than most conservative anti-abortion rhetoric I've seen. I really admire how much more thought the author and his editors seem to have put into the issue than simply arguing for the closure of abortion clinics and outlawing the procedure altogether.
