May 24, 2012 - Fear not, Aaron, Michael Jordan's trying to bring them back. Seriously. It's wierd.
Check him out in this Hanes ad.
Anyway, I wrote this analysis of Terminator primarily as a joke, then I kinda noticed it works REALLY WELL. The analysis in this comic even goes a bit further when you consider than John Conner has the same initials of Jesus Christ and isn't seen in the original Terminator forcing you to take his godliness on faith (and it gets to become quite a stretch in the sequels).
Meanwhile I had a friend in college who made an awesome observation calling Terminator 2 a divorce allegory with Arnold and Linda as mom and pop to the kid you're supposed to identify with who wants them to get along despite the law (cuz why is robert patrick so frequently in a cop's uniform) trying to come between them. Interestingly divorces 1 and 3 of James Cameron correspond to the releases of the first two terminators (he's been divorced four times), and despite generally liking his movies there tends to be an odd undercurrent of sexism to most of them (notice that excluding sequels, a character is always topless or has some steamy striptease/love scene or in the case of titanic, both).
But largely I just found this rant kinda funny. Plus it also attempts to address Star and Aaron's ethnicity.
One more one-off tomorrow, and the next storyline begins Monday.
